A great example is an enemy that runs at you with arms swinging, they are extremely hard to take out at first. The reason is due to the main aspect of the game: you learn very quickly that aiming for the torso is wasting ammo, you have to strategically shoot off their limbs instead. Instead of a crosshair, you are given laser precision dots which you have to aim with instead. The action is also unlike any other game I've played except for maybe RE4. Hats off to the sound design team, seriously. It's almost TOO violent at some points, the disgusting compressed sound of flesh and bones, with the noise of saliva panning on your headphones the whispers of a young girl, the bang and crash of loud heavy metallic objects, the harrowing shriek the monsters make like they are bellowing in pain. The assets look dingy and grimy, and the sound design: my word.
